Interactions Avoid MAOI-A inhibitors, other 5-HT1 agonists, ergotamine-containing or ergot-type medications, and within 24 hours of treatment with another triptan.
Pregnancy Category Category C (risk cannot be ruled out)
Special Considerations Patients should be evaluated for cardiovascular risk before starting treatment; dosage adjustment is needed for patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
