How to Use Nevanac (Nepafenac)?

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the eye drops to avoid contaminating the dropper tip.
  • Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure the medication is properly mixed.
  • Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
  • Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place one drop into the pocket. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip to your eye or any other surface.
  • Release your eyelid and gently close your eyes. Do not blink or rub your eyes.
  • Keep your eyes closed for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the medication to be absorbed.
  • The typical dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day. You should start using Nevanac one day before your cataract surgery, continue using it on the day of your surgery, and keep using it for two weeks after the surgery unless directed otherwise by your doctor.

  • Nevanac® is for topical ophthalmic use only, not for injection.
  • Do not use Nevanac if you are allergic to nepafenac or any other ingredients in this product.
  • Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how Nevanac affects you, as it can cause temporary vision changes.
  • If you develop any new eye symptoms (like redness, swelling, or pain), worsening of your vision, or signs of an allergic reaction, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
  • Store Nevanac at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
